Reclaiming my s xxuality
after menopause
took me deep into the shadows
of my pain, shame & traumas—
transforming them
into power-full medicinal allies
for my sacred healing.
It also reAwakened me
to my W(holiness)—
to the Holy Space
of my sacred womb
which now holds on to my bleeds.
It re-ignited
the blazing fire of my inner flame
and £.r0tic aliveness—
re-connecting me to the Source
of my Divine power and creativity—
re-minding me
in ALL of my glorious
BEing
that
I…You…We…
were created
from the magnificent, infinite
cosmic space
of orgazzzmic
Bliss.
In other words…
It’s a toxic patriarchal myth
that after menopause, we’re washed-up,
dried-up, invisible beings who no longer
have any interest in s xxx.
Yes, indeed,
there are certainly stages of healing
and transition through which we move
and to which we adjust
as our aging bodies change.
But as we learn to navigate
through the inevitable changes
and open up to explore what our unique bodies
need to be aroused—communicating clearly
with our partners what we need and desire—
being “£.r0tically Alive after 55”
is nothing short of holy fire!
